This project is designed to fulfil the requirements of the Global Communication module which forms part of the National Key Stage 3 Scheme of Work. Briefly, pupils in both schools will undertake geographical surveys of their areas. The information collected is entered into databases created by the pupils. Pupils then use the Internet to transfer their databases, i.e. databases produced at Bewdley High School are sent to Haggerston School and vice versa.

Prior to start of the project, pupils in Bewdley High School and Haggerston School will establish email links. The project will be enhanced by the transfer of digital pictures and videotapes of the two areas.

Bewdley High School is in rural Worcestershire, Haggerston School is in Hackney, East London. These two areas are geographically and culturally diverse.

When the project is completed examples of pupils work will be placed on this website.
